Hi Gents,

My father too served with 358 squadron, and I have posted one of the few photos I have under the 358 squadron section. The pilot who he flew with a lot in 358 squadron was J.S.FForde, who he told me went on to be the person whose signature appeared on banknotes. I contacted his son a few years back, Jasper FForde, who is an author. My father lost his log book in the final years of his life so I didn't have too many details, but Jasper kindly sent me some excerpts from his father's which listed some of the sorties in which my father flew.

That was nice of Jasper, I remember reading my grandfathers logs for the first time, it was quite humbling what they went through night after night.
